The dance floor is small! so be sure to get on it before others! Music is good! and even better when everybody is dancing along :)
Drinks are expensive! We got a vodka & coke which was 9.50!
However, to be fair they did fill 3/4 of the glass with vodka & put a dash of coke in it. It took us ages to drink it as it was so strong!

Overall, If your good looking & fairly wadded with money this is the place for you.
Oh, and this clubs apparently recognised for having alot of celebritys there. There wasn't one in sight that night, understandably it was NYE though & more of the public were coming in.
But if you think you'll pop in one night and see somebody famous, chances are you won't as there's the VIP area where you can't get into.

Hope this helps you all.x

Me and My friend went for NYE at Embassy. Firstly, if you don't know where it is from the tube station, I strongly suggest you ask for directions or figure them out yourself. We got lost several times and everybody we asked had seemed to heard of it but could never actually tell us where it exactly was. When we got there, we waited for about ten minutes however, it didn't seem that long. There are two ques; one for guestlist/pre booked tickets and one for on the door tickets.

I'd advise to be on the guestlist or already have a ticket as this que goes down alot quicker. For all the comments about the club/door men being racist. I strongly disagree with! When in the club there are a range of races; african, pakistani, white etc. Plus, the doormen are different races anyway!

The door policy is strict however, if you look presentable and are not drunk at that present time you will be fine. A man infront of us was clearly drunk and he got refused entry.I don't know about the whole mixed group thing, there were four guys together & they all got in. I guess its on the way you look & how the staff are feeling! The staff aren't rude but there not so friendly either.

They don't smile or have a chat...they just get on with there job. When we got in, we went to the toilets; there's only one place you can go which has 4 toilets in it & is fairly small! (not much good when the club is packed!) plus the toilet attendant is really rude! -

We thought we'd go into the toilet together to save time, but when we got out the woman started shouting at us saying that you're not allowed to do that...we didn't seem to understand? You have alot of girls in the club who have fake boobs, fake hair, fake everything! & tend to throw themselves at the old rich guys... bit pathetic really! There are tables upstairs & dowstairs however you have to pay to sit on the tables! So be prepared to stand for a while!CARRYS ON IN NEXT REVIEW...

ProsPodium/professional dancers. The £15-20 entrance fee is too much for what you actually get. Guestlist means you still have to wait up to 25 minutes to get in. While people who book tables go in ahead regardless of how long you've been waiting, very frustrating.Dancefloor is too small. Seats and space are only for those who booked tables.Expect to spend close to £10 for a drink.

I went on a Friday night and although the venue itself was good with great music, the crowd was either middle aged (and overweight!!) men seeking young girls, OR attention seeking, desperate women who were evidently jealous of any girl who was younger/ more attractive than them. There also seemed to be LOTS of chavvy people there. Staff were generally friendly and helpful though! 3/5

There seems to be alot of controversy about this venue, but after experiencing it myself recently, i hope this review will help other people make their minds up.Firstly, i wouldn't quite rate in 4 stars, but nor three, so something like 7 out of ten!!

There are flaws to this place, but a great night can be had when it all comes together.First off, this place isnt the easiest to get into. I would strongly suggest putting yourself on a guestlist with a mixed group, or turning up with a large group of attractive girls, because the door policy is indeed strict.

Reports of unfriendly door staff are true, but if you dont give them an excuse, i.e. turn up in a mixed group (and i mean mixed, perhaps even female dominant), aren't hammered in the que and are well presented, in addition to being polite and sincere, then there's no reason you shouldn't make it past the doors, where in after, the night gets better!

Before this though, you have to pay what is a slightly too expensive £20 entry given the club's pedigree! The club is aesthetically pleasing, as is the crowd. The strict door policy is evident once inside, with a lack of trouble makers and a slighlty higher population of women.

Everyone is well dressed, and it could be said the night is a little pretentious until people get a few drinks inside them, with a few attention seeking lasses and posing men, but this isn't the majority. Initially (11pm-12:30am) there is plenty of room, particularly in the quieter bar upstairs, so you can easily get to the bar to buy the slightly too expensive drinks! That said the measures are large, but i wouldn't turn up stone cold sober.

By 1am the club is packed, slighly too busy infact, and the small dance floor is crammed, but the music is very good, and providing you have had enough to drink and are care free, you can party away quite happily! The overcrowding and not quite justified expense means the club fails to get top marks,

Oh dear.... i don't really know how they can call it a club when really it's a box, i went for my birthday... big mistake. The door staff all have some kind of learning disability...maybe thats why they work on the door. The staff inside don't actually know what they are doing, the bar staff made terrible cocktails only one out of the five tasted as it should... we changed to champers quickly. The music was good... at times, but the crowd was terrible, most were poorly dressed, there were 100 girls to one guy... by guy i mean granddad. Old men perving on young girls. Toliets were very dirty. This was all round terrible...so bad that we moved on....

went there last night and a fantastic time. had a table for five and were treated excellently by all the staff. bouncers were pleasant and the staff in the VIP area too. definately worth a night out there...music was pretty good and the drinks werent too overpriced, the same as any high-end club.
