A unique bar of world-wide renown. The clientel and most of the staff are very friendly, particularly popular with mature gentlmen, but that does not mean that there are not always a plentiful mix of 20's, 30's and 40's. A place where you can always be sure of a chat (and maybe more afterwards) and reasonably priced drink. Attendances have dropped recently - not helped by the somewhat obnoxious attitudes of a short, pony-tailed "bouncer" and of the the regular DJ in the downstairs bar - if they don't like gay people then they shouldn't be working there! On DJ nights he immediately ruins the clever atmospheric lighting by turning it up full then proceeds to play music at extremely loud levels. Stand up to 'em lads! Karaoke nights provide good entertainment and some surprises. Just 2 Mins walk from Marble Arch station and a good place to go to for a drink after a sauna at nearby No 2 Portsea Place or a shopping spree in Oxford Street.

A very friendly atmosphere - I am straight and felt complimented by being cruised loads of times! Highly recommended.

Whilst the Quebec claims to be a Older/Younger gay bar, the ratio of Over 40s to Under 40s would be about 10 to 1.
So, if you're expecting a smorgasbord of 20-somethings, you'll be disappointed.
